For many people a summer vacation means on thing - the beach and if you are determined beach-hunters, you've come to the right place.

Croatia's main tourist attraction has always been its beaches. The Adriatic coast and islands are lined with amazing beaches, abounding in natural harbors, with its countless bays, ports and marinas.

Croatia offers 1.778 kilometers (1.103 miles) of seaside and should you run out of the mainland, there are still over 1.000 islands to choose from (66 inhabited) with additional 4.012 kilometers (2.487 miles) of seaside.


NOVALJA

Situated in a warm cove between the groves of pine, Novalja maintained the archaic Mediterranean ambience with the surroundings decorated with marvellous beaches: Zrce (with blue flag from 2003.), one of the most beautiful Adriatic beaches, Caska, Strasko, Trincel, etc. Novalja has become an important tourist centre. Its offer includes hotels, campsites, modern houses, the residential and tourist resort Gajac, sports and recreational facilities (sports centre within the campsite Strasko), gastronomic delicacies (the cheese of Pag, lamb, domestic wine), cultural events - attractive local dance, valuable heritage, excursions by boat.
The Very attractive Beaches of Zrce and Strasko particularly stand out, with their many sporting and recreational facilities to enhance your holiday. We might make particular reference to the recreational facilities on the sea, the water slide, tenis, and the increasingly popular Beach Volley...
During the Summer, tournaments in football, boules,beach volley, underwater fishing, and mini-marathons are organised, as well as in other sports.

CABLE PAG NOVALJA INFO

When the World was born they forgot to give Croatia the Alps and they gave us the sea without waves so we had to do something, to find a good substance for a snow tracks. In the year of 2006th in the bay of Zrce was opened one more wakeboard cable in Croatia. The cables on salt water are rarity in the World but it does not mean that they are not good.
There are only few cables built on salt water, one of them is Cable Pag.

As we said before, ski lift is situated on island Pag, on Zrce beach, near town Novalja. Probably everybody heard about it, so when u will drink cocktails there, just look 200 m in front and you will see brightness of the day, :) cable park.

Wakeboard globally has two main directions - boat wakeboard - being towed by a boat, and cable wakeboard - riding on cableway systems.
Recreational riders are people of all ages and skills, but the pros are generally younger group, between 15 and 25. Wakeboarding is more than just a sport, like other "extreme" sports, it's a lifestyle.
There are over 100 wakeboard and waterski cableway parks around the world, more then 40 of it in Germany, on natural and artificial lakes. Cableways are ecologically acceptable - the electric drive influences environment much less than the boats.

The cable can go up to 60 km/h but it will keep some constant, about 32km/h. The main tower is 10-10,5 m high. In same time 7 people can cruise around the cable.

When u feel that is a time for pause on a platform is a bar with restaurant where you can chill around, peep into the store with style equipment, shower from salt water or you can just sleep on the sun on a big terrace (200m2).

PLACES TO GO :


Novalja on the island of Pag is a popular summer resort which hosts probably the only beach in Croatia with Ibiza sense.
Zrce can be reached form Novalja by car or you can take a small shuttle bus operating during the summer.

Zrce is a long, stretched, white pebbled beach with crystal clear sea. The beach has numerous facilities and three popular open-air clubs offering entertainment until wee-wee hours. Aquarius and Papaya are outfits from Zagreb's popular clubs, and there is also beach-bar Kalypso.


Aquarius is superbly equipped, it has places to eat, drink and dance, aerobics, homemade ice cream and also a fun pool! Often there are theme parties, bubble parties, live concerts, resident and international DJ's playing hippiest house music.



Papaya is arranged in exotic style and it offers bar, restaurant, VIP area, pool, water slide, jacuzzi, after beach parties, cocktail parties, foam parties and dancing all night. Varied music styles are played by resident and international DJ's.



Kalypso is a beach sport bar offering sand volley, darts, badminton, then cocktails, Internet access, fast food, but also all kinds of other fun events including Miss and Mister competition and of course good music until morning.
